Submitting a Manuscript

How Do I Submit a Manuscript?

• Discuss with your supervisor/academic sponsor about the work you wish to submit and obtain their permission and inputs where necessary.
• Read the Conditions of Publication and agree to conditions of submission, the Journal’s copyright and license agreement and article-processing charge (APC).
• Format your manuscript according to this template depending on the type of manuscript that you are submitting. Click here for tips on preparing your manuscript.
• Please submit your manuscript through our website Psychvey. Please create an account and submit your manuscript under the Survey ID = SGan__SRVY10 as well as email studentjournal@apdskeg.com with the subject "Submission to APD Trove Journal".

Your manuscript will be considered by the Editorial Board for suitability before being sent out for review by at least two relevant reviewers. We endeavour to provide you feedback on your manuscript within 6-10 weeks.

We will also consider previous reviewer comments/external marker comments. Please submit them together with your manuscript.

We advise that you check your manuscript for plagiarism before submission even though this journal will routinely do so (using iThenticate). However, high levels of detected plagiarism may result in an immediate rejection.

Article-Processing Charges

Running a journal is not without costs but given our interest in the field, we charge a nominal sum. Therefore, this journal levies an article-processing charge of USD $150 for each article accepted for publication.

We can waive charges for students of specific backgrounds, and these charge waivers or discounts are granted on a case-by-case basis.
